Welcome to Fanime Community
Fanime Community exists to help creators, artists, makers, collectors, hobbyists, content creators, and fans connect, share their work, and build positive communities.
These guidelines are intended to help keep Fanime Community welcoming, creative, and enjoyable for everyone.
By participating in Fanime Community and Fanime Artist Alley, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
Treat others with kindness, respect, and professionalism.
Healthy discussion, constructive feedback, and creative differences are welcome.
Harassment, bullying, personal attacks, intimidation, threats, or targeted abuse are not permitted.
2. Age Requirements
Users must meet the minimum age requirements applicable in their jurisdiction to create an account and participate in Fanime Community.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising any minor’s use of the platform.
3. Support Creators
Fanime Community exists to help creators showcase their work. Please respect the effort, time, and creativity that creators invest in their projects.
Do not:
- Harass creators
- Misrepresent creator work
- Impersonate creators
- Attempt to scam creators or visitors
4. Keep Content Appropriate
Users and creators are responsible for the content they share.
Do not post content that:
- Is illegal
- Promotes violence
- Encourages harm
- Contains hateful or discriminatory material
- Violates intellectual property rights
- Includes malware, malicious links, or harmful software
Fanime reserves the right to remove content that is inappropriate or harmful to the community.
5. Respect Intellectual Property
Only upload or share content that you own or have permission to use.
Do not:
- Re-upload another creator’s work without permission
- Claim ownership of someone else’s work
- Use stolen artwork, images, logos, or content
If a valid intellectual property complaint is received, content may be removed pending review.
6. Creator Booth Expectations
Artist Alley booths should accurately represent the creator, project, or community they are promoting.
Booths may include:
- Artwork
- Commissions
- Creator portfolios
- Social media links
- Projects
- Communities
- Hobby content
- Creative services
Do not use booths primarily for:
- Spam
- Misleading information
- Fraudulent activity
- Malicious links
7. External Links and Transactions
Many creators use Fanime Community to connect visitors with external websites, stores, social media accounts, commission forms, or other services.
Users should exercise good judgment when interacting with external platforms.
Fanime does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or reliability of third-party websites, services, or external platforms linked by users.
Fanime is not responsible for transactions, agreements, commissions, purchases, or disputes that occur outside of Fanime-operated services.
8. No Spam
Repeated unsolicited promotion, excessive advertising, automated posting, or disruptive behavior is not permitted.
Promotion is encouraged when it contributes meaningfully to the community. Spam is not.
9. Keep the Community Welcoming
Fanime Community is intended to be a positive space for creators and fans of many backgrounds and interests.
Help create an environment where people feel comfortable:
- Sharing their work
- Asking questions
- Learning new skills
- Connecting with others
10. Reporting Problems
If you encounter content, comments, posts, profiles, booths, or behavior that may violate these guidelines, please report it to the Fanime team. Reports will be reviewed and handled at our discretion.
11. Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Content or post removal
- Booth removal
- Upgrade revocation
- Temporary restrictions
- Account suspension
- Permanent account termination
Severity of enforcement will depend on the nature of the violation.
Fanime reserves the right to remove accounts involved in fraudulent or abusive activity.
12. Community Posts and Interactions
Fanime Community encourages discussion, sharing, and collaboration.
When participating in conversations:
- Be respectful of differing opinions.
- Keep discussions constructive.
- Do not harass, attack, or intentionally provoke other members.
- Do not use comments, posts, reactions, or other community features to target or intimidate others.
Healthy discussion is welcome. Disruptive behavior is not.
13. Profiles and Identity
Members are responsible for the information displayed on their profiles, creator pages, and booths.
Do not:
- Use misleading profile information.
- Misrepresent affiliations, credentials, or ownership of content.
- Use profile features to deceive, harass, or impersonate others.
Fanime reserves the right to remove or restrict accounts that violate these guidelines.
14. Media and Uploaded Content
Users may upload images, profile content, media, and other content where permitted by the platform.
Uploaded content must comply with these Community Guidelines and applicable laws.
Fanime reserves the right to remove uploaded content that is:
- Inappropriate
- Harmful
- Misleading
- Spam-related
- In violation of intellectual property rights
15. Reports and Moderation
Community members may report content, comments, profiles, booths, or other activity that may violate these guidelines.
Reports are reviewed by the Fanime team and may result in moderation actions where appropriate.
Submitting knowingly false or abusive reports may itself be considered a violation of these guidelines.

Fanime Community exists to celebrate creativity, support creators, and help people share the things they love.
Be respectful. Be creative. Support one another. Have fun.
