1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Fanime Community, Fanime Artist Alley, and related services (“Fanime”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the website or its services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Fanime Community. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. User Accounts
Users may create accounts to access community features, creator profiles, Artist Alley booths, and related services.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- Keeping your login credentials confidential
- All activity occurring under your account
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating and maintaining your account.
4. Artist Alley Booths
Creators may create and maintain Artist Alley booths to showcase artwork, commissions, portfolios, projects, social media links, products, services, and other creator content.
Creators are responsible for all content displayed within their booth.
Fanime reserves the right to remove, suspend, reject, or modify booths that violate these Terms or community guidelines.
5. Booth Upgrades
Fanime offers optional digital booth upgrades, including but not limited to:
- Spotlight Placement
- Front Row Placement
- Gallery Expansion
- Featured Expansion
- Advanced Customization
Upgrade availability, pricing, capacity limits, waitlists, expiration periods, placement rules, and functionality may change as the platform evolves.
All upgrade purchases are final sale and subject to our Refund & Return Policy.
6. User and Creator Content
Users and creators retain ownership of the content they submit. By publishing content, posts, comments, media, profile content, creator content, or other submissions on Fanime Community, you grant Fanime a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, host, store, reproduce, and promote that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.
You represent that:
- You own or have permission to use the content you submit
- Your content does not violate applicable laws
- Your content does not infringe upon the rights of others
Community Features
Fanime Community may provide features including profiles, posts, comments, reactions, follows, messaging, creator pages, booths, media uploads, reporting tools, and other community functionality.
Fanime reserves the right to modify, restrict, remove, or discontinue community features at any time.
7. Prohibited Content
The following content is prohibited:
- Illegal content
- Fraudulent or deceptive content
- Harassment or abuse
- Hate speech
- Threats or intimidation
- Malware or harmful code
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
- Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
Fanime reserves the right to remove prohibited content without notice.
8. Creator Products, Services, and External Links
Creators may provide links to external websites, stores, social media accounts, commission forms, payment platforms, or other third-party services.
Any purchases, commissions, transactions, agreements, communications, or interactions conducted outside of Fanime Community are solely between the creator and the visitor.
Fanime:
- Does not process or manage off-site transactions
- Is not responsible for products or services sold by creators through third-party platforms
- Does not guarantee creator products, services, delivery times, or fulfillment
- Is not responsible for disputes arising from off-site transactions
Visitors interact with creators and third-party services at their own discretion and risk.
Fanime does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, legality, or reliability of third-party websites, products, services, or content linked by users.
9. Intellectual Property
Fanime Community, Fanime Artist Alley, logos, branding, platform design, software, graphics, and site content are owned by Fanime or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce platform content without permission.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
Fanime reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse platform features
- Harm the platform, community, or other users
Termination may result in the removal of associated posts, comments, profiles, content, booths, upgrades, or access privileges.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Fanime Community is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no guarantees regarding:
- Platform availability
- Platform performance
- Creator success or visibility
- Sales, traffic, engagement, or audience growth
- Accuracy of creator content
- Availability of third-party services
Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fanime, its owners, operators, affiliates, volunteers, staff, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of revenue
- Loss of data
- Business interruption
- Creator disputes
- Off-site transactions
- Platform downtime
13. Changes to the Platform
Fanime reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any feature, service, upgrade, booth system, waitlist system, or community feature at any time.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
